"Axis Digital" Blogadda Meet

It was my second Axis meet and I was damn excited to know what magic these guys at Axis are going to present before us.

The venue was same, corporate office of Axis bank situated in the Bombay Dyeing Mills Compound.

The high class security and classy interiors were equally appealing as they were on my first visit.
As usual the lazy I was a bit late and I regret to miss the starting initial part of the meet.

The agenda of the meet was the launch of “Ping Pay” app by Axis Bank.

Here the magic begins.

What is Ping Pay

It is a multi social payment application by Axis Bank. With this app you can simply ping and send/ask for money or recharge to anyone on your Whatsapp, Facebook, Twitter, Email or Phone book.

You can add digital content like pictures, video, text or audio to give a personal touch to the transaction and make it fun.

Ping Pay has been developed in partnership with Fastacash, a Singapore based, venture-capital backed firm. Fastacash’s technology enables value (money, airtime, coupons, etc) transfers, along with digital content, across any social network and messaging platform.

Why Ping Pay

The most appealing and amazing thing about this app is, it is an entry point for non-Axis customers. The impressive UI and features provides a rich user experience while banking.
Also people are more digitally and socially connected so this app is apt and most convenient for them. The only banking social payment application which allows users to share digital content like text, images, audio and video, while sending/asking for money/mobile recharge.

Features of Ping Pay

1.       Send & Ask money through social media.
2.       Send & Ask recharge socially.
3.       Open saving account with Axis and view balance.

How Ping Pay Works
The app provides an innovative, gesture based user experience that enables money transfers without having to type in the account number and the IFSC code. Sending or requesting money or mobile recharges with the Ping Pay app takes a few simple steps. When sending money, the user chooses a social or messaging channel and selects the name of the person to whom the money is to be sent. They enter the amount to be sent and set a “ping code” that is shared separately with the receiver. Upon confirming the transaction, the money is immediately sent and the receiver gets a message across the social or messaging channel selected by the sender. The receiver has 15 days to transfer the money to his/her bank account using IMPS. In the event, the receiver does not claim the money received within 15 days, the transaction would be auto-reversed to the sender’s account. Ping Pay also has ‘Ask for Money’ and ‘Ask for Recharge’ options, which would allow the receiver to put in a request for funds and also seek recharge from their friends and family across social.

Finally the magic show got over and I was a happy and satisfied man.
We had our set of questions and the Axis magicians answered them all quite superbly.

A sumptuous and delicious lunch was awaiting us and my taste buds were all set for the treat.
Gulab Jamun & Gajar ka halwa with ice cream made my day.
